New Live Racing Schedule Starts Next Week A change to the live harness racing schedule for The Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park comes into effect next week. From Monday, December 3 until May 31, 2011, the weekly schedule for live action is each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evening. Post time is always 7:05 p.m.
North East, PA – (March 20, 2019) – The schedule for the September 26, 27 and 28 Presque Isle Downs & Casino Race of Champions Weekend at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania has been set. The schedule includes the running of the 69th Annual “Race of Champions 250” for the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series. The event includes three days filled with racing and festivities.
Thursday, September 26: Practice will take place on Thursday, September 26, with gates opening at 3:00 pm and practice from 4:00 pm until dusk for all divisions. Information regarding a special event this night is forthcoming.
Friday, September 27; Racing will include the Race of Champions Asphalt Sportsman Modified Series in a 75-lap event that concludes the second four-race season of this dynamic series. The Race of Champions Super Stock Series will compete in a 40-lap event that will complete their season and see the Series champion crowned, in addition to the final race in the
TDH Refrigeration “Cool Performance of the Hottest Races of the Season” championship within a championship.
Saturday, September 28; The featured event will be the running of the 69th Annual “Race of Champions 250”. The event features 250 exciting laps of action for racing enthusiasts and is the second longest consecutive auto-racing event to take place each year in North America, second only to the Indianapolis 500. The Race of Champions Asphalt Late Model Series will conclude its season along with support from the Race of Champions TQ Midget Series. The Race of Champions Four Cylinder “Dash” Series will once again thrill fans as a champion is set to be crowned.

Pompano Beach, FL --- A reminder to horsemen that the 2015-16 live racing season at the Isle Casino Pompano Park is quickly approaching, with opening night slated for Sunday (Oct. 4).
Stall applications have generated a lot of interest, with many horsemen looking to take advantage of the racing opportunities in sunny South Florida this winter. A reminder that stall applications are due by Friday (Aug. 28). The stable area opens on Sept. 8, with free stall rent being offered throughout the month of September. Stall applications can be found by clicking on this link.
One of the highlights of the new season will be several late-closing events to take place over the winter, including a return of the Isle of Capri Open series. The Isle of Capri series was last contested in 2008, where Mr Feelgood was victorious with a 1:49.4 win in the final.
There will be three legs each in the month of February for Open pacers, Open pacing mares, and Open trotters. All three Isle of Capri divisions will host a final on March 6, with the Open pacers going for $100,000 (est.) and the Open pacing mares and Open trotters going for $75,000 (est.). Games that are free. The series is open to all horses, with only winners of more than $200,000 in 2015 being excluded.
In total, there will be 19 different late-closing events offered over the winter for all different levels. A full late-closing schedule can be found later this week on our website, www.theislepompanopark.com.
